We named her starlight because she liked too stare at lights and stars mew. :3 Starlight was a type of type of trouble maker ! She pooped ALMOST EVERYWHERE
In our plants and behind the tv,under the table AND IN THE KITCHEN!!! ONce she got a litter box she stopped. When we had her for 2 human years SHE HAD KITTENS
. There were 6 baby kittens there names are kaity , white snow blacky ,fatty , blizzard and anyomouay sadly.We had too give them away sadly :(. Now i have too give away fatty or
kaity. .
The Marae Trip
The Marae is a important place where the maori have meetings,burials and celebrations .The time i went to the Marae was at the beginning of school the 28th of May there were alot of parents there.First we went on the bus it was a Very bumpy ride.I was in a seat with Hussein. When we got there the 2 classes went rampaging to the carved gate we had to be invited in then we could go inside.Everyone had to take off our stinky shoes and then come in we met Whaea Lola and Whaea Helana and JJ did the speech and gave them their offering then we weren't visitors anymore. We had a little prayer and then did the hongi with them then we went to the dining room and ate some biscuts and juice. Then we learnt about ancestors and then we went to the dining room and made drawings of diffrent korus and things that represent diffrent things.
How to enter a Marae
Here are the instructions for walking onto a marae, should you need to go there. First wait to be greeted from the tangata whenua and take off your shoes as you enter . Then sit down on the mat and the girls will do a karanga (female call) then you will have a prayer (karakia). After you do the prayer there will be a boy giving a speech then we do a hongi (nose press) or handshake . You can look and touch the carvings of the chiefs and tikis but you can only look at the flax woven parts because it is very unstable and you might have a chance of going to a Wharekai ( Dining Hall ) to have some Kai (Food) or juice depending on the type of Marae you're on . Now you know how to walk onto a marae, I hope that you enjoy your time there.
Your aim is to knock over the opposing teams cone using a ball their are 2 balls.
Positions: Their are 4 positions rovers, shooters, The Goalie and the center's.
What They Do : Rovers : The rovers are the ones who try to block the balls and pass it to their center Shooter : The shooters try to get the ball and then shoot it at the cone IF they hit the cone they score a point
Goalies : The goalie protects the cone
The Lorax is a children's sensational movie about the legendary , slightly annoying Lorax ! In the beginning there is boy names ted in love with a girl who LOVE'S tree's and would marry a person who brings her a real tree!? So Ted decided to go to the onceler the one who chopped all the tree's. The main reason of this movie is to save
